Michelle and Colin’s day was one of bespoke details, embracing less than ideal weather, and still having the most gorgeous, emotion filled celebration. I had the opportunity to document their day on both digital and film mediums and the film really added nostalgia to the emotion of the day.

 

They got ready in their respective AirBnBs  in historic Downtown Annapolis, and when they were both ready, Colin brought Michelle’s son Elliott over to do a first look with her, which is one of my favorite moments I captured this year.

 

After the first looks we wandered some of the nearby historic streets in the rain to take portraits, before arriving at their venue, the William Paca House and Gardens. Each guest was served champagne as they entered the ceremony space and the ceremony proceeded under the tent that the Paca House has on their property. 

 

During their cocktail hour, two of Michelle and Colin’s friends performed music while guests enjoyed signature cocktails (spicy margaritas) and a beautiful grazing table. 

The reception space was stunningly decorated with both florals and fresh fruit, truly giving modern renaissance vibes. 

 

Some of my favorite moments from the night were Michelle’s dance with her son Elliott, the Pavlova bar for dessert, and a Creed singalong at the end of the reception. It was truly a night to remember!
